Shadow (BLACK WOLF), Shadowland Foundation's namesake and inspiration has left a legacy of love, trust, healing and chose the ranch to fulfill her life's mission to heal hearts, minds, souls and charged us with the honorable task of saving wolves and all living things. She left us with huge paws to fill; and is with us forever in Spirit.

Wolf Wisdom Gathering
Every Sunday at 11AM visitors have the opportunity to see themselves through the unconditional loving eyes of the wolves; Finding compassion for the Shadowland Foundation wolves, themselves and all living things.
Takoda (meaning Friend to Everyone) is the Alpha Male of the Shadowland Foundation pack, Life mate of Alaska and father of 1 male and 5 female pack members.
Alaska at 6 weeks old; she grew up to be the Shadowland Foundation Alpha Female and the mother of 6 of our pack.
The Shadowland Foundation gives tours to "Educate not Eradicate" wolves in the wild. They are residents at the ranch, Freedom.
Here at the ranch, Freedom is the perfect location for a rustic wedding. Add the Shadowland Foundation wolves and you are set for life.

Now retired Coronel Arnold Straland honored us at the Mascots of the Wolf Pack Squadron at Ft. MacArthur Air force Base. We are always open to any active service member or Veteran and their families.
